Soon we’ll be starting a new identity for DJWA Strategies that will see us change our name to AGENTIC. The new company will focus on web development, primarily in Drupal and PHP. I think this will be a great change as it will allow DJWA Strategies to continue with a more community engagement focus and do more of the things that I like doing.
Agentic is an adjective and refers to the idea that human agency is possible. It’s meaning is that people are producers as well as products of social systems. For me, it refers to the notion that there is a “created catalyst” which is human agency. I think it’s a great metaphor for the work we do with community agencies.
